Random Rhyming Ringing Singing

My mind spins rhymes that meaning lack
They bounce and twirl inside my brain
And dribble down my arching back
And tickle without causing pain

Each silly random bouncing word
Springs forth without a conscious choice
In phrases forming verse absurd
Ringing out in singing voice

My singing knows no place or time
That for performance isn't fair
Each improvised and nonsense rhyme
Leaps boldly out into the air.

Those who overhear my song
look twice before they shy away
But I won't worry very long
I need no audience today.
